Donna Batesl
I went to Brackenhurst College after leaving school and completed courses in a National Diploma in Business & Finance & BHSAI. After leaving college, I worked in different types of yards including Polo, Hunting, eventing & Riding schools, this variety gave me a lot of experience & knowledge in the Equestrian sport and I also completed my BHSI exam during that time.
My next achievement was to complete my BHSI, which I passed in 2003. In order to achieve this I gained valuable experience from training with many top trainers including Jenny Ward, Caroline Moore, Tim Downes, Patsy Bartram, Pammy Hutton, Ken Clawson and Julian Trevor-Roper.
I continue to train myself and attend regular seminars and conventions in order to stay up to date with fresh ideas and methods. My passion is for Dressage which I have worked hard to achieve a high standard.
I currently own 2 horses. One, I have trained from an imported 3 year old, who is now competing at Medium Level Dressage as a 7 year old.
The other horse I am currently training is a 5 year old throughbred mare she has been at the livery yard since a 2 year old, when she came out of the race training
